If you've already got an Ibis Hi-Fi or Lo-Fi Handlebar (with the blue threaded ends) and want the cleanest RevGrips system we offer, you're in the right place. If you're the rider who needs every millimeter of real estate and likes to ride out at the end of the bar, this is also a great choice.
One of our biggest customer suggestions is to design a single lock-on grip. Although that's a great idea, it presents a multitude of performance (as well as safety) issues due to having a "suspended" grip with only one side attached to the handlebar. Ultimately, we want the most comfortable grip as well. For that to be achieved, it needs to be suspended at both ends.
Enter IBIS and the HiFi/LoFi handlebar which is a premium Carbon Bar with threaded aluminum inserts at each end. We made our own extensions at 780mm wide (800mm upon special request) which accept our SLI Grip System. For us to achieve that "single-lock" goal, we integrated the outer clamp into an all-new Bar End that threads securely into the handlebar. This creates an Ultra Thin bar end cap for that Single-Lock feel, but it will not rip off in a crash like a traditional Single Lock Grip.
Is this a replacement for our Pro Series System? Certainly NOT, but we all like options. Is it expensive? Well, sure, if you've already got a handlebar you like. Price breakdown is $170.00 for the Carbon Handlebar and $79.95 for the SLI System (discounted for bundling with the handlebar).
Our SLI (Single-Lock-Integrated) system is ONLY compatible with the IBIS Hi-Fi or Lo-Fi Carbon Handlebar. The Handlebar is NOT included in this price.
